As you can see this page is named Web Development. Web design is just that, designing a website. Web development on the other hand encompasses all of the aspects of a good website. This page will explain all that we do at DF Web Services and will help you better understand all that goes into creating a website. At DF Web Services, every website starts off like a blank painter's canvas. No two websites are exactly alike.

Website Design

• Every website created by DF Web Services are designed from the ground up. Certain elements and features from other web sites that a client likes may be incorporated into the web site, but no site is ever created from a template. Every web site is as unique as the individual who owns it. Every web site makes a statement. That's the philosophy at DF Web Services.

Web Site Re-Design

• Web site re-design is cheaper than you think! The basic elements are there, and some fresh graphics and a few minor updates are usually all that are needed. Some times it is best to start from scratch. Contact us for a quote!

Logos / Graphics

• A Custom Logo and graphics can be designed for your web site if you do not have a logo already, or if you want to go after a fresh new look! Every website uses its own graphics, made especially for that website. The exception would be stock photos and clip art if so desired.

Shopping Carts / E-Commerce

• We can customize a shopping cart to fit your needs. Whether you sell hand-crafted items you make yourself, or you sell manufactured items, we can help you. There are many free E-Commerce scripts out there but many features that you might require may involve purchasing more sophisticated software. We will discuss your needs and determine the requirements at the time of consultation.

Flash Design

• Flash design will be quoted on an individual basis, according to your needs. Flash is not our specialty, but we can provide you with simple flash animations and/or introduction pages. More elaborate flash projects may be provided at an additional cost.

Web Site Hosting and Domain Registration

• DF Web Services can register your domain and host your site too! Your quote will include this, if hosting and domain registration is necessary. See Web Hosting and Domain Registration for more details.

Web Site Maintenance

• All of the web sites designed by DF Web Services automatically come with a 30 day maintenance agreement (Slight modifications, corrections, etc). If your web site will require regular updating or maintenance, a plan can be worked out for a reasonable fee.

Search Engine Placement

• We will submit your site to several of the top search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN, and more. Other techniques are also used to help with search engine placement and ranking. This is included in all our design projects. Meta tags are placed in all of your pages to optimize your chances of getting listed with a good ranking and proper tags within the body of your web site will be inplimented as well.**
  
  
• ** Although we have achieved decent results in the past, and will work hard to optimize your site's ranking, we can make no guarantee regarding search engine placement or ranking. Thorough site scrutiny and persistant research is required in order to assure a better position on major search engines. If you would like this service we can do it on a per request basis, and there will be an additional fee for this service.
